MGG nurtures in developing a sapling into a deep-rooted tree

Published on November 21, 2022

"In the virtual Academy in 2021, I learned to think out of the box, acknowledge diverse perspectives as a treasure and use them to come up with different, innovative solutions to global challenges. Communication is key for successful cooperation. It is not an individual who needs to run fast, but as a team, we need to run together"

Nisheet's change story:

Participation in the virtual Academy in 2021 opened a new digital world for me. I am now much more comfortable handling digital meetings and using innovative methods of time management, communication, and negotiation tools in diverse teams. I transferred the methodological knowledge gained in the MGG Academy within my organization and experienced an enhancement in work outcomes and efficiency. Working in such a diverse group in the MGG Academy across different countries, time zones and sectors increased my capacity for time management and intercultural understanding. I implement many of the strategies in my ongoing work. After the MGG Academy, I am convinced that communication is key to successful collaboration. Understanding the other side's views is crucial. It is not an individual who needs to run fast, but as a team, we need to run together. These type of learning I have been implementing within my professional life and have seen quite change among my team mates in terms of working together.

Why is your change story inspiring?

MGG was like sharpening my axe to axe more trees. And since I am an environment supporter, I do not cut real trees but rather harvest the fruits of these learnings. MGG nurtures in developing a sapling into a deep-rooted tree.
