Tamara's change story:
The most important change that happened in my professional live after the MGG Academy is that I received the Humboldt Chancellor Fellowship in order to further work on the topic of diversity in leadership programmes. I aim to gain a more global understanding of different categories of diversity in order to support deeper structural changes towards inclusion.
After the MGG Academy, I realized that global cooperation is important and powerful. This was the inspiration for my application to the fellowship programme. I have been working with diversity and inclusion for 15 years now. But completing the MGG Academy, I realized that I need diverse international perspectives to develop more integrated and legitimated solutions. After MGG I realized that e.g. the category colour of skin has a different meaning in different countries. We need more tools to solve conflicts of diversity and inclusion to change the system.
